Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leonardo Nascimento (ranked 1947 p4p, 3059 weight class) and Rich Mahogany (ranked 275 p4p, 400 weight class). Nascimento comes to the cage accompanied by Jiu-Jitsu, Arte Suave Milenar . Mahogany comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Litty kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahogany lands with a kick to the temple. Nascimento shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Mahogany throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Nascimento tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mahogany is in Nascimento's guard.

Mahogany slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Nascimento uses his free foot to push down on Mahogany's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mahogany.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nascimento seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mahogany does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
