The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee misses with a takedown attempt - Masvidal sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Masvidal connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lee is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lee.
Jon Masvidal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryker Lee.
Masvidal throws a good cross that connects.
Masvidal keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Masvidal cracks Lee with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Lee looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Masvidal finish him?

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Masvidal counters with a huge left! Lee is in big trouble! He's backing up but Masvidal isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Lee from any more damage. A dominating finish by Masvidal!

A determined Jon Masvidal didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
