Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Choy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Check (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eddie Choy could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mike Check's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddie Choy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Check! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Check tries to clinch there but Choy circles away.
Check moves out of range as Choy strikes. Check stuffs the takedown attempt from Choy. Choy gets slowly back to his feet. Choy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Check will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Choy wants to pass the guard but Check is keeping the position. Choy postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Check is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Choy, into his guard. Check drops back looking for a leg! Choy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Choy manages to kick Check off! Check jumps back into Choy's guard. Check trying to control the position from guard on top but Choy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Check drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Check jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Choy tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Check throwing strikes but missing. Choy is looking for a triangle but Check pushes his legs off easily.
Choy keeping moving, preventing Check from controlling successfully. Check tries to free his leg and advance position but Choy is retaining full guard. Choy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Check gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Check throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Choy works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Check passes into half guard. Check trying to control the action but Choy is working from the bottom. Choy tries to get to full guard but Check has control of the leg. Choy gets back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Choy looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Choy is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Choy is breathing heavily. Check passes Choy's left leg - he's now in half guard. Check seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Choy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Check is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Check wants to free his trapped foot but Choy is holding on for dear life with his legs. Choy looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Choy is looking for a sweep. Check is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Check thows a huge punch but Choy dodges it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Choy is refusing to be controlled, as Check sits in half guard. Check is looking for a kimura here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Choy gets a takedown into half guard. Choy is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Check doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Choy. Check is trying to get back to full guard. Choy is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Choy wants to pass the guard but Check is defending well. Check works his way to full guard. Good work. Check throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Choy drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Check manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Choy has Check in his guard. Check pushing down on Choy's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Check prevents Choy from improving his position. Check is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Check wants to work for an arm triangle but Choy is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Eddie Choy will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Choy closes the distance and lands a one-two. Choy fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Check shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Check showed some decent athleticism there. Check is looking to take a break and control but Choy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are battling for position here. Choy manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Check stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Choy swivels though and keeps the full guard. Choy looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Choy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Choy keeping moving, preventing Check from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Check is sitting in close to Choy's body. Choy has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Check is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Check is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Choy.
