Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Doctor Zhen (ranked 4629 p4p, 4592 weight class) and Landon Miranda (ranked 0 p4p, 491 weight class). Zhen comes to the cage accompanied by Sexy Boy. The crowd seem to be enjoying Miranda's choice of entrance music: Your Eyes. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miranda swings and misses with a hook to the body.
It looked like Zhen was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Miranda.
Miranda has taken the fight to the clinch.
Zhen tries to throw a body punch but Miranda avoids it by throwing Zhen back against the cage.
Miranda blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Zhen misses with a punch to the body.
Zhen misses with some punches.
Zhen tries to work over Miranda's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Zhen misses with a hook to the ribs.
Miranda's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zhen was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Miranda closes the distance and clinches up with Zhen, looking for a takedown. Miranda pushes Zhen against the cage but Zhen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Miranda is trying hard to land a takedown here. Zhen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Miranda fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zhen manages to avoid it.

Landon Miranda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Zhen counters with a straight right hand.
Miranda misses with an attempted mid kick.
Miranda has his takedown stuffed
enabling Zhen to counter with a crisp jab.

Zhen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Miranda misses with a lunging right hand
and Zhen counters with a left to the body.
Miranda shoots in for a double leg but Zhen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A quick step to the side and Zhen tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Miranda doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Zhen counters with a nice body shot.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Miranda misses with a body punch
and Zhen counters with a right hand to the body.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Doctor Zhen dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

and Zhen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Zhen counters with a big right hand! Oh Miranda is in trouble here! Zhen follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
