CWC 270 PBP Commentary |
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 11 losses; Juu Dyon! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 6 losses; Toby Flenderson!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Columbo Gatti and Reed Andrews.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Dyon shoots for a double leg takedown but Flenderson sprawls well. He's pushed Dyon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dyon is defended easily by Flenderson.

Dyon is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at The Sparring Cages, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Flenderson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Dyon will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Flenderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dyon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
