The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickington tries to clinch up.
Nickington tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chadders paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Chadders drives through and clinches with Nickington against the cage.

Chadders escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Nickington shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Nickington was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Chadders bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Nickington moves into range and clinches up with Chadders.
Nickington is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Chadders is defending well for now.

Nickington is trying to pull guard but Chadders turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Nickington really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chadders. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Nickington has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chadders is working away from the top position though.

Chadders displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nickington.
Chadders lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nickington circles away quickly and effectively.
Nickington digs a good hook to Chadders's body.
Chadders throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nickington's waist but Nickington gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chadders off to one side.
Nickington moves in looking to clinch but Chadders pushes him off.
Chadders tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Nickington manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Chadders tries to bum rush Nickington with a series of wild strikes but Nickington uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Chadders tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Nickington shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chadders's guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Nickington closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Nickington is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Nickington is in a horrible position here. Chadders smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Nickington tries to reverse the position but Chadders maintains control.
BOOM! Chadders connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Nickington tries to control the position but Chadders now has his back.
Nickington is trying to get back to his feet but Chadders has full control of the position and if anything, Nickington has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Chadders lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Well Chadders has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
