This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 15 wins and 13 losses; Joshua Brown! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 5 losses; Bazar Al Jhit!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Franklyn Lucas and John Roberts.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Al Jhit fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Brown tries to pull guard but Al Jhit won't allow it.
Brown is pressed up against the cage. Al Jhit has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Brown down to the mat. Brown avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brown slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
