Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Bard (ranked 2798 p4p, 3618 weight class) and Roger Daly (ranked 361 p4p, 439 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Bard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roger Daly!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daly misses with the combination.
Daly scores with a jab to the body.
Daly bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bard scores with a head kick.
It looks like Roger Daly has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bard.
Daly on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Daly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bard was well out of range. Poor timing from Daly.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bard looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Daly avoids the body shot from Bard.
Daly slips a straight right by Bard.
Roger Daly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bard scores with a punch to the head.

Bard gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Daly misses with an uppercut. Bard saw that one coming.
Daly connects with a right hand. Bard shakes it off.
A big left from Daly misses.
Bard changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Sloppy strikes from Daly. Those never looked like landing.
Bard waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Daly.
Daly with the counter takedown but Bard avoids it easily.
Bard has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Bard lands a nice hook to Daly's body. Daly takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Bard dodges the punch combination from Daly.
Bard ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bard walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bard smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Daly lands a head shot.
Daly misses with an uppercut
and Bard counters with a big uppercut that knocks Daly off his feet! Bard dives into side control looking to finish!
Daly is rocked!
Bard cracks Daly with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Bard immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Daly is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Bard!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Bard!
In his post fight interview, Mike Bard started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
