Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kamal Quahaar (ranked 4250 p4p, 5621 weight class) and White Beard (ranked 0 p4p, 563 weight class). Quahaar's entrance music is Oh No - Mos Def. A fine choice. Beard has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. White Beard will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beard thows a leg kick but Quahaar checks it

and Quahaar counters by moving into the clinch.
Quahaar tries for a takedown but Beard manages to get underhooks.
Quahaar has Beard pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Beard manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Quahaar has Beard pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Quahaar pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Beard tumbling to the mat - Quahaar dives into Beard's guard.
Quahaar is standing up over Beard. Beard looks to escape but Quahaar dives into side control.

Beard is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Quahaar works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

The referee warns Beard that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Quahaar postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Beard looks a forlorn figure.
Oooh a big shot lands for Quahaar! Beard is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!

Kamal Quahaar spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
