Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dom Severini (ranked 603 p4p, 919 weight class) and Jack Wilson (ranked 85 p4p, 125 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dom Severini! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Wilson! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson misses with a wild body shot. Severini dodges the punch combination from Wilson.
Severini appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Severini lands a jab to the head.
It looks like Jack Wilson has been cut. Severini shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wilson defends it nicely. Wilson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Severini ducks under a wild hook from Wilson. We've been told by Severini's head coaches at Desert Fitness & Training (14 Elite Coaches) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Wilson misses with a looping right. Severini was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Severini gets cracked there but stands up to it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Severini throws a right hand that Wilson ducks under and follows up with a left that Wilson also avoids with ease. Wilson tests Severini's chin there with a solid looking shot. Wilson scores with a nice right hand.
Wilson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Severini moves away. Wilson scores with a punch to the head. Jack Wilson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The fight stays on the outside here - Severini looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Severini misses with a double jab.
Severini uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wilson. Severini looks to land a left hand but Wilson moved out of range nicely. Severini misses with a wild body shot. Wilson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Severini.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilson throws an overhand right that lands on Severini's shoulder, as Severini tries to avoid the shot. Severini throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Wilson crashing down! Wilson tries to stagger back to his feet but Severini just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Wilson asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dom Severini! After the big win, Dom Severini made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Conviction and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
