Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 18 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tomomi Tsuruta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jeremy Jones!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones ducks under a wild hook from Tsuruta.
Tsuruta jabs Jones right on the nose. Jones blinks but takes it well.
Jones goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Tomomi Tsuruta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jones throws a big shot that misses.
Tsuruta throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tsuruta shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Tsuruta takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jones misses with an attempted mid kick.
Tsuruta swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Tsuruta works over Jones's head and body with a nice combination.
Jones missing with a left hand there. Tsuruta was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Tsuruta appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Jones scores with a leg kick.
Tsuruta misses with a double jab
and Jones counters with a nice uppercut.
Tsuruta throws a hook but Jones avoids it easily.
It seemed like Jones was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Tsuruta throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jones throws a counter combo.
Jones goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones avoids the body shot from Tsuruta.
Tsuruta lands with an uppercut that bounces Jones off the cage and back into range.
Jones misses with a looping right.
Tsuruta is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones feints with a jab and clips Tsuruta right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Tsuruta is sent crashing into the canvas and Jones leaps in for the kill! Tsuruta tries to get to his feet but Jones is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Tsuruta is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeremy Jones!
Jeremy Jones tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
