Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cai Chi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marco Denton!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Ron Honeybunn and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Denton throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Chi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Denton sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Chi ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Denton swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Marco Denton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Denton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chi moves away.
Denton lands with a good body shot.
Denton misses the body punch
and Chi counters by moving into the clinch.
Denton fails to pull guard.
Denton wants to break the clinch but can't.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Chi.
Denton tries to pull guard but Chi forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Denton tries to stall but Chi uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Denton looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Chi lands a hook to the side of the head.
Chi scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Chi lands a shoulder strike.
Denton ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Denton no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Chi has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chi is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Denton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Denton is tightening it up a little... Chi has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Chi reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Chi taps out! Nice BJJ there by Denton!
