Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Wille Thai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Radu Dracul!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Ron Honeybunn and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thai shoots in and bounces Dracul off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Thai looking to pass the guard.
Dracul is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Thai looking for submissions off his back.
Thai tries to roll over but Dracul keeps him under control.
Dracul moves into full mount! Thai won't be happy about that!
Thai is wriggling around trying to escape.
Thai has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dracul pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Thai keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dracul lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Thai hang on?
It looks like Wille Thai has been cut.
Dracul lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Thai is desperately trying to improve his position but Dracul has a good base and remains in mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dracul can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Thai is looking to escape.
Dracul postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Thai looks a forlorn figure.
Thai is rocked!
Wille Thai's cut is getting worse.
Thai is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Dracul! Thai is hurt baaadly! Dracul is firing away with more strikes - Thai is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Radu Dracul!
