Verdins tries to close the distance and clinch but Gomez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gomez cracks a nice hook into Verdins's ribs.

Gomez uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Verdins is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gomez was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Gomez wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Verdins takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

BOOM! Gomez lands a beautiful left hook that drops Verdins. Verdins tries to recover but Gomez is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Verdins lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
