Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vasiliy Kulik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barry Jones!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kulik works the jab nicely.
Kulik cracks Jones with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Kulik connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jones's hands.
Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kulik is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Kulik bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jones blocks a jab.
Kulik takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Jones throws a right hand that misses
and Kulik counters with a stiff right hand.
Jones misses with a straight left.
Jones missing with a left hand there. Kulik was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A slow jab from Kulik misses its intended target.
Kulik has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Ludus Magnus in the buildup to the fight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kulik sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jones missing with a left hand there. Kulik was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kulik is looking for a counter combo.
Jones throws out a loose jab but Kulik uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kulik connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Jones tumbling to the canvas! Kulik pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Jones was done - good stoppage!
