Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Kirk (ranked 776 p4p, 970 weight class) and Fidel Legions (ranked 116 p4p, 142 weight class). Legions has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Kirk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fidel Legions!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Chad Campbell and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Legions throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kirk defending well as Legions loads up on a big left hand.
Kirk on the wrong end of a nice hook.
A jab from Legions finds it's way through Kirk's defenses.

It looked like Kirk was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Legions.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Legions felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

That was a close round but I would say that James Kirk will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Kirk shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

As Legions backs away, Kirk returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Legions manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kirk on his heels. He'll look to pass Kirk's guard now, I'm sure.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Legions in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Legions swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kirk is now in Legions's guard. A big mistake from Legions there, giving up the dominant position!
Legions isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kirk stacks Legions on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kirk!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fidel Legions comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Legions has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
