Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Noah Miranda (ranked 5754 p4p, 4387 weight class) and Edward Leaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Edward Leaf enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, David Schapiro and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miranda uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Leaf.
Miranda checks a leg kick nicely.
A combination from Miranda does no damage.
Miranda lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Leaf circles away quickly and effectively.
Miranda shoots in and drives through. Leaf sprawls well.
Miranda will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Leaf decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leaf is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Leaf stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Miranda swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Leaf stays in close to Miranda's body and controls the position.
Let's hope that Leaf has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Miranda really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Miranda doesn't manage to clinch there - Leaf circles away.

A quick step to the side and Miranda tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Leaf ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Miranda is breathing heavily.
Leaf just misses with a punch to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Leaf. Those never looked like landing.
No joy there for Leaf, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Miranda displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Leaf throws out the jab.

Leaf throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Miranda misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Leaf swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Miranda looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Leaf is fending him off so far but Miranda persists. Nope, Leaf circles away and we're back to standing.
Leaf has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Leaf is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Miranda knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Leaf is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Miranda's shoulder. That is not cool.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Leaf is working Miranda over with some ground and pound from side control.

Leaf is trying to trip Miranda. He has hold of a leg but Miranda is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Leaf persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
