Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Salomon Mukunzi (ranked 1531 p4p, 1879 weight class) and Hanzo Hattori (ranked 233 p4p, 276 weight class). Mukunzi comes to the cage accompanied by All We Got - Chance The Rapper. Hattori is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Red Warrior. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mukunzi scores with a jab to the head.
Hattori looks to land a left hand but Mukunzi moved out of range nicely.
Hattori misses with a left hand
and Mukunzi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hattori bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Mukunzi lands a big right hand that sends Hattori crashing to the mat! Mukunzi stays standing though and waves Hattori back to his feet!
Hattori is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hattori blocks a jab.
Hattori is still on wobbly legs! Can Mukunzi finish him?
Hattori cracks Mukunzi with an open hand slap.
Mukunzi throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hattori throws out a counter right but Mukunzi avoids it with no problem.
Hattori seems to have recovered his senses.
Mukunzi is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Hattori hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Salomon Mukunzi!
Salomon Mukunzi was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
