Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jose Garcia (ranked 4401 p4p, 4200 weight class) and Mitchell Clancy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jose Garcia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mitchell Clancy! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clancy ducks under a wild hook from Garcia. Clancy feints the counter takedown. Garcia misses with a straight right. Garcia throws a looping overhand right but Clancy ducks down to avoid it. Clancy forces Garcia back against the cage and clinches. Garcia wants to break free but Clancy has control.
Clancy is trying to pull guard but Garcia turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Clancy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Clancy tries to move into range but Garcia moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Clancy fails with a takedown attempt from distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clancy showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Garcia.
Clancy tries to clinch up but Garcia circles away and keeps his distance. Clancy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Garcia finds it's way round the side to connect with Clancy's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clancy with the inside leg kick. Garcia dips to his left and cracks Clancy with an uppercut! Nice sprawl there from Garcia as Clancy shoots in. Jose Garcia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mitchell Clancy. Garcia throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Clancy. Clancy throws a lazy head kick and Garcia connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Clancy needs to keep his hands up - Garcia had a free shot at his head there. Clancy is looking to clinch. Garcia shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Clancy eats them both and turns towards Garcia to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Clancy goes for a double leg but Garcia avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Garcia continues to drive forward. Garcia throws a big shot that misses. Clancy moves into the clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Clancy lands a shot to the body.

Clancy pulls guard. Clancy has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Clancy is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Garcia is aware though and is defending well. Garcia slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. That's three minutes gone in the round. Garcia gets to his feet. Clancy looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Clancy shoots for a takedown but Garcia saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Garcia rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Clancy moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Clancy looking to score a takedown here. Garcia is defending well but Clancy drives through and ends up in Garcia's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clancy engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Clancy stopping the sweep attempt from Garcia. Clancy stops Garcia from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clancy is pushing down on Garcia's leg trying to pass to half guard. Garcia is fighting to maintain full guard but Clancy has managed to sneak the leg through. Clancy decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Clancy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Garcia. Clancy slips a jab and a cross from Garcia.
Clancy clinches up against the cage. Garcia is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Clancy is defending well. Clancy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Clancy is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Garcia throws an elbow that misses. Clancy uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Garcia's guard. Nice move by Clancy!
Clancy stands up from guard. Let's bang! Clancy is looking to clinch but Garcia is avoiding it.

Horrible takedown attempt by Clancy or perhaps it was just good defense by Garcia, which made it look bad. Garcia scores with a decent looking hook. Garcia misses with a wild combination.

Garcia displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Clancy. Clancy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Clancy dives in and grabs Garcia's left leg, looking for a takedown. Garcia pushes down on Clancy's head and hops out. Clancy throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Garcia. Clancy is breathing heavily. Garcia avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Garcia connects with a good right hand that stumbles Clancy. Clancy circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Clancy throws a lazy head kick and Garcia counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Clancy tries to clinch up. Garcia throwing a counter right hand but Clancy manages to avoid it. Garcia misses with a looping right. Garcia dips to his left and cracks Clancy with an uppercut! Clancy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Clancy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Garcia throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Garcia jumps guard but Clancy turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Clancy drops down looking for an ankle pick but Garcia pulls his leg out and moves away.

and Clancy moves into the clinch. Mitchell Clancy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jose Garcia is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Clancy works on Garcia's body with a couple of short punches.
And that's the end of the fight! Jose Garcia showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Garcia, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
