These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Striker getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Striker thuds his right hand into McCarthy's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Striker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McCarthy moves away.
Striker buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Terry Striker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler McCarthy.
Striker throws a right hand that McCarthy ducks under and follows up with a left that McCarthy also avoids with ease.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
