Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boomer Scarborough (ranked 4653 p4p, 4323 weight class) and Robert Maric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scarborough comes to the cage accompanied by The Rumjacks - An Irish Pub Song. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scarborough stuns Maric with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Maric moves to clinch but Scarborough breaks away
and Scarborough counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Robert Maric has been cut.
Scarborough scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Maric doesn't seem bothered though.
Scarborough connects with a good right hand that stumbles Maric. Maric circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Maric wants to clinch
and Maric takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Maric drives through and clinches with Scarborough against the cage.
Scarborough will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Maric up against the cage.
Maric is trying to pull guard but Scarborough turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Maric works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Maric darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Maric shoots in for a double leg but Scarborough sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Robert Maric's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Maric tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Maric on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

A relieved looking Boomer Scarborough thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
