Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boomer Scarborough (ranked 4653 p4p, 4323 weight class) and Robert Maric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scarborough comes to the cage accompanied by The Rumjacks - An Irish Pub Song. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Boomer Scarborough! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robert Maric! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scarborough stuns Maric with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Maric moves to clinch but Scarborough breaks away and Scarborough counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Robert Maric has been cut. Scarborough scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Maric doesn't seem bothered though. Scarborough connects with a good right hand that stumbles Maric. Maric circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Maric wants to clinch and Maric takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Maric drives through and clinches with Scarborough against the cage.
Scarborough will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Maric up against the cage. Maric is trying to pull guard but Scarborough turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Maric works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Maric looks winded! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Scarborough looking to hit a scissor sweep but Maric is one step ahead there. Maric postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scarborough being controlled here, momentarily. Scarborough not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Maric darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scarborough is looking to get back to full guard here but Maric has managed to pass to side control instead. Maric stands up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Maric. Scarborough was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Maric shoots in for a double leg but Scarborough sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Boomer Scarborough has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Maric. Scarborough scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Maric doesn't seem bothered though. Maric shoots for a double leg takedown but Scarborough sprawls well. He's pushed Maric's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Scarborough thuds a left hand into Maric's body. Scarborough lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Maric walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
That has opened up Robert Maric's cut even more. A right-left combo lands from Scarborough. Nice uppercut lands for Scarborough. That snapped Maric's head back.
Scarborough throws a good cross that connects.
The cut above Robert Maric's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Maric takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Scarborough lands a nice looking body shot.

Robert Maric's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Maric tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Maric on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Jab from Scarborough.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Robert Maric's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Boomer Scarborough! A relieved looking Boomer Scarborough thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
