And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aidan Gabriel!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wang takes one to the side of the head.
Wang wants to clinch
and Wang takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wang closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Gabriel wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Wang has him pressed against the cage.
Wang has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gabriel uses from the top position.
Gabriel trying to control the position from guard on top but Wang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wang is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Gabriel has his hands clasped together but Wang extends and breaks Gabriel's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Wang.
