Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shane Pulver (ranked 3598 p4p, 3349 weight class) and Damian Sanchez (ranked 432 p4p, 411 weight class). Sanchez has chosen Rainbow in the dark by -DIO as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shane Pulver! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Damian Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pulver keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sanchez. Pulver throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sanchez's head. Pulver uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sanchez.
And Pulver counters with a quick kick to the body but Sanchez blocks it. Pulver misses with a wild body shot. Pulver throws a sloppy head kick and Sanchez moves out of range easily. Pulver clinches with his opponent.

Sanchez tries to break the clinch but Pulver is controlling the position. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Sanchez. Pulver lands an elbow inside that Sanchez shrugs off. Pulver with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Pulver throws an elbow that misses.

Sanchez goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Sanchez misses with the head strike.
Sanchez looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Sanchez is looking to break free of the clinch but Pulver has double underhooks. Pulver has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Sanchez regains guard immediately. This has been an exciting period of action! Pulver working some strikes from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pulver with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Pulver is in close to Sanchez's body, working some short punches and elbows. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pulver's corner is telling him to maintain position. Pulver scoring with some ground and pound. Pulver working some strikes from top position. Sanchez wants to sweep but no luck. Pulver controls from within his opponent's guard. Pulver will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Pulver distracts Sanchez with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Pulver with a nice head shot there. Sanchez wants to get back to his feet but Pulver is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Pulver stays in close to Sanchez's body and controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pulver is working Sanchez over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Pulver cracks Sanchez with a solid left hand. Pulver is in close to Sanchez's body, working some short punches and elbows. Pulver stays in close to Sanchez's body and controls the position. Sanchez is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Pulver dives into side control.
Sanchez is trying to escape the position but Pulver is controlling the position. Pulver has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Sanchez on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Pulver connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Sanchez some visible discomfort.
Pulver moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Sanchez taking a bit of punishment here - Pulver scoring with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pulver happy to just control the position for now. Pulver lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Pulver lands an elbow. Sanchez taking a bit of punishment here - Pulver scoring with strikes. Sanchez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pulver. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sanchez tries to bench press Pulver off him but Pulver keeps the position. Pulver landing strikes. Pulver controls the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Shane Pulver dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Sanchez lands with a thumping leg kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Sanchez. An inside leg kick lands from Pulver. Some wild striking there from Sanchez.
Damian Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pulver has Sanchez up against the cage in a clinch.
Sanchez working hard to break the clinch. Sanchez misses with a short punch on the inside. Pulver with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Pulver is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sanchez is defending well for now. Sanchez tries to throw a body punch but Pulver avoids it by throwing Sanchez back against the cage. Pulver is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sanchez can do to turn this around? We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pulver missing with knees to the body.
Pulver tries to land knees in the clinch but Sanchez avoids the damage to the body. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Sanchez just misses with a elbow thrown towards Pulver's brow. Sanchez tries to circle away but Pulver has him pinned against the cage. Pulver lands a nice elbow. Pulver with a knee to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pulver with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Sanchez is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Pulver lands a damaging elbow. Sanchez is still on wobbly legs! Can Pulver finish him? Pulver is pushing Sanchez up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Pulver pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Sanchez! Pulver unloads with more strikes and Sanchez sinks to his knees! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shane Pulver! Shane Pulver spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
