Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lerrick Dewis (ranked 4518 p4p, 4359 weight class) and Warmaster Barnett (ranked 507 p4p, 501 weight class). Barnett has chosen This is WAR by - GWAR as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lerrick Dewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Warmaster Barnett!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnett drives through with a takedown into guard.
Barnett trying to control the position from guard on top but Dewis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Barnett must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Barnett working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Barnett drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dewis manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Barnett has Dewis in his guard.
Barnett seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
