Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Padro Piscani (ranked 4400 p4p, 4636 weight class) and Bobby Beavis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piscani defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Beavis.
Piscani wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Beavis walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Piscani lands a nice hook to Beavis's body. Beavis takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Piscani shoots in looking for a takedown but Beavis manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Piscani's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Piscani tries to bum rush Beavis with a series of wild strikes but Beavis uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Piscani is looking to stand back up but Beavis counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Piscani.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Beavis swings around for an armbar but Piscani sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Beavis's guard.

Piscani doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Piscani can't keep his opponent in guard - Beavis advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Piscani can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Beavis controls the pace.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Beavis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Piscani moves away.
