Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Canada Man (ranked 2994 p4p, 23655 weight class) and Thomas Muller (ranked 0 p4p, 189 weight class). Thomas Muller will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muller darts in looking for a takedown but Man gets double underhooks and turns Muller into the cage.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Muller!
Muller fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Muller misses with a double jab.

Muller shoots in for a takedown but Man shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Canada Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Muller.
A punch lands to the side of Man 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Muller moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Man drives through with a takedown into Muller's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Muller can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Man controls the pace.
Man tries to free his leg and advance position but Muller is retaining full guard.
Man is stalling in the full guard.
Man stands and throws Muller's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Man is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Muller has escaped the position, nice work there.
Muller is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Man asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Man tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Man has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Man is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Muller is surviving well by controlling Man's body position as best he can.

Muller is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Man is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Muller throws out a powerful jab.
Thomas Muller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Muller is looking to clinch.
Muller connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Muller moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Man dodges the punch combination from Muller.
Muller looks to land a right hand but Man moved out of range.
Man defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Muller.
Man takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Muller gets caught napping as Man dives in and scores a takedown. Muller manages to retain guard.
Man is pushing down on Muller's leg trying to pass to half guard. Muller is fighting to maintain full guard but Man has managed to sneak the leg through.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Muller tries to kick Man off but Man keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Man postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Muller to stand up.
A low kick from Man misses
and Muller counters with a stiff right hand.
Muller shoots in but no luck this time.
Man drops down looking for a counter takedown but Muller sprawls and moves away.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Man shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Man was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Man will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Man decides to stand up, so the ref orders Muller to his feet.
Nice uppercut there from Muller.
Muller pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Man back to the cage. Muller follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Man throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Muller tries to clinch up but Man circles away and keeps his distance.
Muller tests Man's chin there with a solid looking shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Man closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Man lands in his opponent's guard.
Muller is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Man is controlling him.
Muller avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Man in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Man stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Muller swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Man is standing up over Muller. Muller looks to escape but Man dives into side control.
Muller tries to escape but Man is in control.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Muller wants to get back to his feet but Man is dominant here and he's now got Muller's back!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Canada Man will probably get the nod.

Man throws a right hand that Muller ducks under and follows up with a left that Muller also avoids with ease.
A slow jab from Muller misses its intended target.
Man wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Muller bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Muller closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Muller lands in his opponent's guard.

Man manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Muller goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Man drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Muller is trying to get back to his feet.
Man controls the position from side control.

Man in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Muller is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
