Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Usman Magomedsharipov!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juan tries for a takedown but Magomedsharipov circles away easily
and Magomedsharipov counters by moving into the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Juan's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Magomedsharipov jumps into guard, dragging Juan to the mat.
Magomedsharipov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Juan's guard.
Magomedsharipov is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Magomedsharipov lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Juan trying to keep a closed guard but Magomedsharipov is proving a slippery customer.
Juan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Magomedsharipov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Magomedsharipov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Magomedsharipov keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Juan's head.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Magomedsharipov's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Magomedsharipov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Juan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Magomedsharipov defends it easily.
Juan is breathing heavily.
Juan is working an open guard so Magomedsharipov takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Magomedsharipov darts in and clinches Juan up against the cage.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Magomedsharipov is on top in guard.
Magomedsharipov stands up over Juan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Juan is working an open guard so Magomedsharipov takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Juan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Magomedsharipov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Juan's guard.
Magomedsharipov is standing up over Juan. Juan looks to escape but Magomedsharipov dives into side control.
Magomedsharipov has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Juan is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Magomedsharipov yanks on the arm and Juan is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Magomedsharipov.

Usman Magomedsharipov decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
