The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeLuna rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sanchez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sloppy strikes from Sanchez. Those never looked like landing.
Sanchez throws a right and a left that both miss.
DeLuna lands a left and a right that send Sanchez crashing to the mat, dazed. DeLuna thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Luis Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
DeLuna connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Sanchez! He's out on his feet! DeLuna rushes in and drops Sanchez with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
