Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Geert Visser (ranked 4284 p4p, 4948 weight class) and Jacob Pokorney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pokorney has chosen Never Gonna Give You Up as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Geert Visser!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jacob Pokorney!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pokorney misses the shot to the body.
Visser throws a right and a left that Pokorney avoids nicely.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pokorney! But no joy.

Visser shoots in and bounces Pokorney off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Pokorney preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Visser postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Pokorney looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Pokorney has gone for a leg lock! Visser slips out almost immediately though and dives into Pokorney's guard.

Pokorney is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Visser is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Visser has escaped and now he's on top!

Pokorney is looking for a triangle but Visser pushes his legs off easily.

Pokorney is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Visser pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pokorney is keeping the position for now.
Pokorney looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Visser might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Pokorney can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Visser controls the pace.

Visser throws an elbow that misses. Pokorney uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Visser's guard. Nice move by Pokorney!

Pokorney sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Visser's guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

A close round but Jacob Pokorney will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Pokorney closes the distance and clinches up with Visser, looking for a takedown. Pokorney pushes Visser against the cage but Visser circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pokorney.

Visser misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pokorney.
Pokorney is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Pokorney changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Visser tries to avoid it but Pokorney manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Visser to the ground. Visser escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Geert Visser has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacob Pokorney.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pokorney. Visser does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pokorney has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Visser is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Geert Visser overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Visser is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Pokorney is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Visser seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pokorney does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Visser looks to land a strike but Pokorney avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Visser stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Pokorney has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Visser manages to get his head free but now Pokorney has transitioned to an armbar! Visser grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Pokorney! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jacob Pokorney!
A very excited looking Jacob Pokorney rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
