Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Torraso Fisticuffs (ranked 2444 p4p, 2376 weight class) and Wanderlei Rua (ranked 314 p4p, 304 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Torraso Fisticuffs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wanderlei Rua!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fisticuffs. Fisticuffs circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
An inside leg kick from Rua misses.
Fisticuffs throwing a counter right hand but Rua manages to avoid it.
Rua waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Fisticuffs.
Fisticuffs fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rua connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Rua sends Fisticuffs crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rua is motioning to the referee to let Fisticuffs up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Fisticuffs is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rua scores with a body shot.
Fisticuffs tries to clinch up but Rua circles away and keeps his distance.
Fisticuffs looks to throw the jab but Rua is out of range.
Fisticuffs misses with a right hand
and Rua rattles Fisticuffs with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Fisticuffs tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Rua dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Fisticuffs stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Wanderlei Rua!
During a confident post fight interview, Wanderlei Rua thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
