Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 5822 p4p, 6069 weight class) and Boby Ramrod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramrod is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bloody Sabbath. The key to victory for Xxx Xxx has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Boby Ramrod!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramrod misses with a takedown attempt - Xxx sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Xxx is looking to counter with a body kick.
Xxx displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ramrod.
Xxx looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Ramrod feints and as Xxx raises his hands in defense, Ramrod changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ramrod should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Xxx is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ramrod is controlling him.
Ramrod pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Xxx is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Xxx not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Xxx can't keep his opponent in guard - Ramrod advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Xxx is looking to control Ramrod's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Xxx avoid being mounted?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ramrod wants to free his trapped foot but Xxx is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Xxx trying to control but Ramrod postures up.
Ramrod trying to mount his opponent but Xxx defends it.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Ramrod uses his free foot to push down on Xxx's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Xxx.
Ramrod pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.

Ramrod jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Xxx is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Xxx and Ramrod has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Ramrod advances nicely into full mount.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ramrod is trying to take his opponent's back.
Ramrod moves to the back position.
Ramrod is persistently looking for the submission but Xxx is defending it well.
Xxx is really stuck here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Ramrod is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Xxx with him. Xxx is trying to defend but Ramrod has an arm under the chin now! Xxx grimaces and is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Boby Ramrod!
A determined Boby Ramrod didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
