Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tacitus Kilgore (ranked 59 p4p, 182 weight class) and Third Eye (ranked 8 p4p, 25 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tacitus Kilgore! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 4 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Third Eye! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Damien Edna and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kilgore clinches up against the cage. Kilgore working aggressively here.
Eye escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Eye with a nice calf kick. Kilgore throws an overhand right that lands on Eye's shoulder, as Eye tries to avoid the shot. Kilgore on the wrong end of a nice jab. Eye scores with a decent looking hook. A good leg kick by Eye. Eye throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kilgore. Kilgore swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Eye fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kilgore checks it well. Eye throws a chopping leg kick but Kilgore manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Eye throws a leg kick that is checked and Kilgore counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Eye thinking. A shot to the liver by Eye. Beautiful body shot. Kilgore moves into the clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! Eye is trying to break free. A short right from Eye. A nice right hand lands inside from Eye. Kilgore can't find room to land a body shot as Eye controls the action.
Kilgore lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Eye backwards. Kilgore lands an uppercut. Kilgore lands a left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eye wants to break the clinch but can't.
Eye wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Kilgore lands a left hand.
A nice left hand lands by Kilgore.
Eye tries to circle away but Kilgore has him pinned against the cage. Kilgore can't find room to land a body shot as Eye controls the action.
Kilgore keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Eye's efforts to push away. Kilgore scores with an uppercut up the middle. Eye can't find room to land a body shot as Kilgore controls the action.
Kilgore pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kilgore throws a body shot but no joy. Kilgore slips under a jab from Eye. Kilgore shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Eye jabbing away but nothing is landing. Eye misses with a low kick. A big left from Kilgore misses. Kilgore keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kilgore tries to clinch but Eye is having none of it. Eye throws a body shot but no joy. Kilgore looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kilgore moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Kilgore misses with an attempted mid kick.
Eye ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kilgore moves away. Eye misses with an uppercut. Kilgore saw that one coming. Third Eye seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kilgore has taken the fight to the clinch.
Eye has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Kilgore seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Eye can turn it around. Eye prevents a body shot from Kilgore. Eye breaks from the clinch.
Kilgore closes the distance and pushes Eye back into the cage. Eye is trying to break free. Eye wants to break the clinch but can't.

Kilgore tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Eye pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Eye lands a head kick. Kilgore smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Third Eye is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kilgore tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. The fighters circling - Eye throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Eye jabbing away but nothing is landing. A slapping leg kick lands for Eye.
A left lands for Eye.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kilgore moves in looking to clinch but Eye pushes him off. Eye gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Kilgore ducks under a wild hook from Eye. Kilgore dodges the punch combination from Eye.
A decent looking cross lands there for Eye. A chopping leg kick lands by Eye. Eye looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kilgore. Eye looks like he wants to counter punch here. Eye takes one to the chin there.
It looks like Third Eye has been cut. Kilgore steps in with a hook that catches Eye right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Kilgore follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Eye looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tacitus Kilgore! Tacitus Kilgore retains his lightweight title! Tacitus Kilgore decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
