Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jacob Puckett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nassir Bey! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bey fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Puckett, pushing him back against the cage. Bey misses with a knee strike.
Bey gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Puckett regains guard.
Bey is standing up over Puckett. Puckett looks to escape but Bey dives into side control.
Puckett takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Bey has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Puckett is trying to work for a sweep but Bey has mounted him! Bey sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Bey is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Bey extends the arm and Puckett is forced to tap!
