Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Moussa Kabore!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Datte Bayo!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Chad Campbell and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bayo misses with a wild body shot.
Kabore comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kabore throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bayo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Bayo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bayo appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Kabore tries to bum rush Bayo with a series of wild strikes but Bayo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bayo throws out a counter right but Kabore avoids it with no problem.
Bayo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kabore manages to avoid it.
Kabore attempts a counter takedown but Bayo avoids it well and moves away.
Kabore throws a big shot that misses.
Kabore fails with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bayo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bayo just misses with a punch to the body.
We've been told by Kabore's head coaches at Prizm Jiu Jitsu & MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

and Bayo counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Moussa Kabore has been cut.

Bayo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kabore tries to clinch but Bayo is having none of it.
Bayo clinches up against the cage.
Bayo throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kabore blocks it with crossed arms.
Bayo tries to land a knee to the head but Kabore blocks with his arms.
Bayo unloads a knee to the mid-section. Kabore lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Bayo tries to work over Kabore's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Bayo with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Bayo putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Kabore in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Bayo drops Kabore with a big knee straight up the middle! Kabore is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Kabore is rocked!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bayo lands a body shot.
Oh Kabore is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kabore is breathing heavily.
Kabore takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Bayo lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Kabore head around and knocks him out cold! Bayo hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Datte Bayo!
