The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

De Moncey shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Boyka manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

De Moncey has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

De Moncey wants to control but Boyka is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

De Moncey is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Boyka is just riding it out for now. De Moncey eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Boyka has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing De Moncey to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Boyka is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - De Moncey pulls down on the head and he's put Boyka to sleep! This one is all over!
