Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Curtis Tate Iii (ranked 4915 p4p, 10983 weight class) and Sota Sankari (ranked 76 p4p, 110 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Curtis Tate Iii! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sota Sankari! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sankari tries to keep at a distance but Tate Iii has taken the fight into the clinch. Sankari looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Good anti-grappling being displayed by Tate Iii as Sankari tries to tie him up. Tate Iii being controlled against the ropes. Sankari prevents Tate Iii from breaking the clinch. Tate Iii has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Sankari is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tate Iii is defending well for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sankari is trying to force a seperation but Tate Iii has the dominant position. Tate Iii working hard to break the clinch. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Sankari looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Tate Iii misses with a knee strike.
Tate Iii wants to get back to striking at distance but Sankari won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sankari has Tate Iii pressed against the ropes, preventing Tate Iii from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Nice elbow from Sankari. Sankari escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tate Iii pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Sankari back to the ropes. Tate Iii follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Sota Sankari has been cut. Sankari wants to clinch and Tate Iii counters with a right hand to the body. Tate Iii clips Sankari with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Sankari a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tate Iii misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Tate Iii stalls. Tate Iii wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Tate Iii looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Tate Iii has had enough of the clinch but Sankari keeps him there for the moment. Tate Iii is trying to stall.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tate Iii catches Sankari napping and connects with a fantastic 3 punch combination that sends Sankari crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but he's all over the place - can he beat the count?!? 4,5,6,7,8...9...10! He didn't make it back to his feet! Tate Iii raises both arms skywards and takes in the roar from the crowd!
