These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viking pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Samsonov misses with an attempted mid kick.
Samsonov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Viking.
Viking throws a hook but Samsonov blocks it.
Samsonov throws the left hand but Viking avoids the punch easily.
Viking swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
