Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nacho Varga (ranked 927 p4p, 1161 weight class) and Mama Tosen (ranked 108 p4p, 138 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nacho Varga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mama Tosen!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tosen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A head kick misses from Tosen.
Varga takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Tosen throws a jab when Varga was well out of range.
Varga misses with a body shot
and Tosen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Nacho Varga has been cut.
Varga throws a head kick but Tosen moves out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tosen changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

and Tosen counters with a crisp right hand that drops Varga! Tosen lets Varga back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Oh Varga is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Varga throws a right and a left that both miss.
Varga seems to have got his legs back now.
Tosen scores with a shot to the body.
Varga has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Varga there as he acknowledges the shot.

A quick step to the side and Varga tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tosen has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Varga fires out a quick counter leg kick but Tosen just manages to avoid it.
Varga uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tosen.

Tosen takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Tosen just misses with a punch to the body.
Tosen avoids the head kick by Varga.
A little jabbing left from Tosen on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Nice body punch from Tosen.
Tosen slips a jab and a cross from Varga.
Tosen cracks Varga with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Varga throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Varga throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A nice inside leg kick there by Tosen. That's going to slow Varga down.
Tosen looks to land a left hand but Varga moved out of range nicely.
Varga was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Tosen with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tosen rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Varga counters with a big head kick but Tosen shrugs it off.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Varga takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Tosen lands a nice looking body shot.

Tosen appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Varga might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

A little feinted left hand from Varga on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Varga lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Varga walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Mama Tosen seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Varga darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Varga throws a good cross that connects.
Tosen blocks a leg kick.
Varga looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Varga really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Tosen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
It looked like Varga was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
A head kick misses from Varga.
Tosen flicks out a counter leg kick but Varga steps away.
Tosen thumps Varga with a low kick.
Varga takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tosen cracks Varga with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Tosen has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Varga to stand back up!

Varga is looking to wear down Tosen with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

That's time! Varga's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Tosen drops Varga with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Varga looks back up at him and smiles so Tosen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Varga walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Varga limp body while Tosen jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
