Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Star shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Star was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Star gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Charuto misses with a jab, cross combination.
Charuto tries to clinch but Star moves out of range.

Star is pushing Charuto up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Charuto wants to break free but Star has control.

Star has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Star had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Charuto is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Star Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Charuto's back instead.
Star just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Star is looking to control Charuto but Charuto is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Charuto manages to reverse the position and now he's in Star's guard. Nice work there by Charuto.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Charuto has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Star avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Charuto goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Star has managed to clinch.

Star is trying to trip Charuto. He has hold of a leg but Charuto is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Star persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Charuto tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Charuto is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Charuto is in trouble now - Star has advanced to mount!
Star stands up from mount. Strange move.
Charuto gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
so Star counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Star stands up and waves to Charuto to follow him.
Charuto clinches but Star breaks the clinch
and Star counters with a nice double leg into side control. Charuto won't be happy with that.
Charuto is not content to let Star control the position.
Star is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Charuto is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Star looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Star is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Charuto sees it coming and defends easily.
Star is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Charuto has managed to free his arm - good work.
Charuto tries to roll over but Star keeps him under control.
Star looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Star moves into full mount! Charuto won't be happy about that!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Star stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Charuto wants to clinch but Star slips to the side
and Star holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Charuto is looking to break free of the clinch but Star has double underhooks.
Star has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Charuto regains guard immediately.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Charuto is on top in guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Star has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Charuto should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Star has tightened it up now! Charuto should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
