Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kenneth Hell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jaden Stuart! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hell closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stuart circles away. Stuart is looking to clinch but Hell is avoiding it.
Hell shoots in for a takedown but Stuart shows good takedown defense. Stuart tries to close the distance and clinch but Hell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Stuart pushes Hell up against the cage in a clinch. A frustrated look appears on Hell's face as he tries to break the clinch. Stuart tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Hell takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Kenneth Hell has been cut. Stuart tries a knee to the head but Hell blocks it.
Stuart with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Stuart gets underhooks to prevent Hell's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenneth Hell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hell avoids a wild elbow strike from Stuart. Hell avoids the elbow strike from Stuart, against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hell decides to pull guard. Stuart is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hell has his foot on Stuart's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stuart works his way back into a safe position though. Hell is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stuart trying to control the position from guard on top but Hell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stuart preventing the sweep. Stuart wants to control from the top but Hell keeps moving. Stuart passes into half guard. Stuart looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Stuart slows the pace down in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hell wants to get back to full guard. Stuart is keen to just control but Hell is a slippery customer. Stuart stands up from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stuart moves into the clinch. Stalling in the clinch from Stuart.
Stuart working Hell over with knees to the body. Stuart throws a knee to the head but misses.
Stuart with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Stuart throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Hell avoids a wild elbow strike from Stuart. Stuart misses with a hook from the clinch. Stuart comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Stuart tries to score a body lock takedown but Hell shows good agility there to stay on his feet. A knee to the head by Stuart.
Stuart prevents a takedown attempt there.
Stuart pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stuart can't get the takedown.
Hell takes a knee right on the jaw!
Hell is stalling here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hell blocks a body shot from Stuart. Stuart scores with an uppercut up the middle. Stuart pushes Hell back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Stuart gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Stuart connects with a nasty looking knee right to Hell's face.
Stuart throws an elbow that misses.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Stuart scores with a knee to the head.
Hell is rocked! Stuart comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Oh Hell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Stuart lands a body shot. Stuart has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hell uses from the top position. Stuart manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hell manages to get himself to full guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jaden Stuart dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kenneth Hell's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Stuart has managed to clinch.
Stuart throws an elbow but it misses.
Hell seems to have got his legs back now. Stuart working aggressively here.
Stuart lands a big knee to the head and Hell goes down! Stuart pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
