Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill lunges at Lucroy with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lucroy's hand.
Hill thows a body kick. Lucroy tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Lucroy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hill swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Lucroy throws a front kick that sends Hill stumbling back into the cage.

Lucroy jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hill walks away with a smile on his face. Lucroy gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Lucroy closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hill's guard.

Hill is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Lucroy tries to get to full guard but Hill has control of the leg.
Well, if Hill is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Hill works his foot free and advances to mount.

Lucroy sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Lucroy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hill is one step ahead there.

Lucroy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hill keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hill utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Lucroy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lucroy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Lucroy takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Hill fakes the leg kick and cracks Lucroy in the body.
Lucroy stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hill.
Lucroy takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Lucroy needs to keep his hands up - Hill had a free shot at his head there.

Nice takedown defense from Hill. No joy for Lucroy on that attempt.

Hill bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lucroy's head.

Lucroy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hill tries to avoid it but Lucroy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hill to the ground. Hill escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

It looks like Jean Lucroy has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hill turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Hill lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lucroy.

Lucroy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hill, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
