The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maglieri misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bryne clinches up against the cage.
Maglieri jumps guard but Bryne stands there with Maglieri around his waist. Maglieri gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Bryne stops a takedown attempt from Maglieri.
Trond Carlos Bryne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Maglieri.
Bryne gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Bryne gets to his feet - Maglieri follows without any prompting.
Bryne tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Maglieri paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Maglieri shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bryne's guard.
Bryne is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Maglieri frees his head nicely. Oh but Bryne has switched to an armbar! Maglieri is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
