Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 43 - 24 - 2, fighting out of London, Desmond Glass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cajetan Shashi!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glass slaps away a takedown attempt from Shashi, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jab, jab by Glass - just one landing.
Glass swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Shashi counters with a big head kick but Glass shrugs it off.
Desmond Glass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A shot to the liver by Glass. Beautiful body shot.
Glass scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Shashi manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Glass on his heels. He'll look to pass Glass's guard now, I'm sure.

Glass has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Shashi has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shashi tries to pull guard but Glass won't allow it.
Glass can't find room to land a body shot as Shashi controls the action.

Desmond Glass has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cajetan Shashi.
Shashi has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Glass is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Shashi is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Glass to keep the fight standing.
Glass throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Glass pushes Shashi back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Shashi is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Glass is defending well for now.
Glass lands a shoulder strike.
Glass digs a right hand underneath Shashi's ribcage. Shashi let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Glass tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Shashi avoids it.
Shashi blocks a body shot from Glass.
Glass softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Glass prevents the takedown attempt.

Shashi breaks from the clinch.
Glass scores with a jab to the body.
Shashi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Glass.

Glass lands a big uppercut and Shashi crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Shashi looks OK. Glass waves Shashi back to his feet!

Shashi is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Glass closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Shashi out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Desmond Glass!
