The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Murphy.
Murphy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nixon counters with a single leg into guard. Murphy didn't expect that.
Nixon gets to his feet - Murphy follows without any prompting.
Nixon drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Nixon is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Murphy looks calm but he's in trouble here. Nixon gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Murphy is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Nixon lets go of the hold and Murphy can pop his arm back in it's socket.
