Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Beavis (ranked 4508 p4p, 5406 weight class) and Padro Piscani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Beavis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Padro Piscani!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piscani connects with a jab.
Piscani throws a leg kick but Beavis moved away.
Piscani defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Beavis.
Piscani lands a nice shot to the body.
Piscani slaps away a takedown attempt from Beavis, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Beavis has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Piscani lands a body shot.
Piscani pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Beavis back to the cage. Piscani follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Piscani throws a wild body kick that Beavis sees coming a mile off.
Beavis half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Piscani jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Beavis moves out of range as Piscani throws a body kick.
Beavis appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Piscani lands with a nice body punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Piscani lands a nice shot that snaps Beavis's head back.
Piscani cracks Beavis with a right hand to the side of the head.

Piscani fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Beavis looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Piscani thuds his right hand into Beavis's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Beavis shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Beavis showed some decent athleticism there.
Beavis thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Beavis is trying to control. Piscani wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Piscani is doing well to control the position and prevent Beavis from advancing to side control.
Beavis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Piscani tries to get to full guard but Beavis has control of the leg.

Beavis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Piscani is just riding it out for now. Beavis eventually gives up the hold.

Piscani is looking to control Beavis's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Piscani avoid being mounted?

Beavis seems to be working for a kimura but Piscani defends the submission attempt.

Piscani is looking for a sweep. Beavis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Beavis is looking to advance position but Piscani won't allow it.
Beavis with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Piscani preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Piscani tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Piscani misses with a low kick.
Beavis changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Piscani scores with a body shot.
Piscani with a hook.
Piscani wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Piscani connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Piscani misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Beavis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Piscani sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Beavis somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Beavis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Piscani tests Beavis's chin there with a solid looking shot.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Padro Piscani dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Piscani cracks a nice hook into Beavis's ribs.
Beavis on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Beavis manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Piscani on his heels. He'll look to pass Piscani's guard now, I'm sure.
Beavis is pushing down on Piscani's leg trying to pass to half guard. Piscani is fighting to maintain full guard but Beavis has managed to sneak the leg through.

Beavis passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Piscani!
Beavis takes Piscani's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Piscani is in trouble.

Beavis is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Piscani knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Piscani for a finish.
Piscani grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.

Beavis is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Piscani is defending well though. Beavis let's go of the attempt for now.
Piscani staying busy and making it hard for Beavis to control.

Beavis looking to break Piscani's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Piscani remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Beavis will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Bobby Beavis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Piscani has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Beavis shoots in but no luck this time.
Beavis tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Piscani defends well and Beavis ends up having to push Piscani into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Piscani wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Beavis tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Piscani smiles and moves away.
Beavis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Piscani circles away.
As Beavis backs off Piscani throws a huge counter combo but Beavis manages to avoid it all.

Piscani throws a push kick but Beavis slaps the foot to one side.

It looks like Bobby Beavis has been cut.
Beavis gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Good exchange - Piscani coming out on top.
Piscani misses with a head kick.
Beavis takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Padro Piscani is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Piscani closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Piscani attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Beavis counters with a single leg into guard. Piscani didn't expect that.
Piscani is wriggling around but Beavis manages to pass to half guard.
Piscani takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Beavis scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Piscani is trying to control but can't.
Beavis works his way into side control.
Piscani really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Beavis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Beavis passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Piscani!

Beavis avoids the attempt from Piscani to control.
Beavis working away from the top, dropping strikes.

Beavis looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Beavis wants to take Piscani's back but he can't do it this time.

Beavis is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Piscani can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Beavis can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Piscani is looking to escape.

Padro Piscani comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Piscani has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
