Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leon Kam (ranked 4309 p4p, 5906 weight class) and Krzysztof Zakrzewski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krzysztof Zakrzewski is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Leon Kam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Krzysztof Zakrzewski! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kam connects with a high kick.
It looks like Krzysztof Zakrzewski has been cut. Zakrzewski looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Zakrzewski gets caught flat footed, as Kam shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Zakrzewski looking for a sweep. Not yet Zakrzewski, not yet. Zakrzewski trying to control the position.
Kam trying to control the position from guard on top but Zakrzewski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kam wanted to stand there but Zakrzewski had control of the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zakrzewski keeping moving, preventing Kam from controlling successfully. Kam trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zakrzewski utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zakrzewski. Kam instigates a clinch. Kam has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Zakrzewski is trying to keep an underhook but Kam manages to get the takedown into half guard. Kam seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Zakrzewski felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Zakrzewski is refusing to be controlled, as Kam sits in half guard. Kam wants to pass the guard but Zakrzewski is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kam is working hard here to advance position. Zakrzewski trying to hold on to Kam's head to control him but Kam postures up.
Kam is trying to control the action in half guard but Zakrzewski is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Zakrzewski takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Zakrzewski changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Kam darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kam is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kam is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Zakrzewski has managed to free his arm - good work. Kam trying to advance position but Zakrzewski counters by regaining guard. Zakrzewski keeping moving, preventing Kam from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kam postures up in Zakrzewski's guard and throws a big left but Zakrzewski blocks it. Kam has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Zakrzewski keeping full guard, as Kam tries to pass. Zakrzewski looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kam trying to control the position from guard on top but Zakrzewski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Leon Kam dominated that round. The cut man is working on Krzysztof Zakrzewski's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Zakrzewski shoots for a takedown but Kam saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kam moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Kam gets a clinch. Kam is looking for a takedown. Kam manages to pull guard.
Kam looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kam looking to sweep here. No luck so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kam looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Zakrzewski puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Zakrzewski is breathing heavily. Kam is looking to improve his position.
Zakrzewski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kam keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kam is looking to control Zakrzewski's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kam avoid being mounted? Zakrzewski perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Kam trying to control from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Kam closes the distance and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kam is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Zakrzewski to keep the fight standing. Kam decides to pull guard. Kam is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Zakrzewski can do to turn this around? Kam pushes Zakrzewski off and scrambles back to his feet.
Kam darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Kam wants to take a breather but Zakrzewski is having none of it. Kam thows a huge punch but Zakrzewski dodges it nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kam trying to control but Zakrzewski is working from the bottom. Kam is looking to pass into half guard but Zakrzewski pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Zakrzewski is in guard. Kam trying to control the position.
Kam wants to stand but Zakrzewski is controlling the position. Zakrzewski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Zakrzewski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kam trying to keep a closed guard but Zakrzewski is proving a slippery customer.
Leon Kam overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kam is looking for a triangle but Zakrzewski pushes his legs off easily.
Zakrzewski wants to control from the top but Kam keeps moving. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kam working for a triangle but Zakrzewski defends it easily.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Leon Kam dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Krzysztof Zakrzewski's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Kam fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Zakrzewski to the ground. Kam is now in Zakrzewski's guard. Kam knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zakrzewski on the ground. Kam stands up and waves to Zakrzewski to follow him. Leon Kam is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kam looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Zakrzewski blocks a head kick by Kam.

That's one minute gone in the round. Zakrzewski shoots in but no luck this time. Zakrzewski tries to sprawl but Kam drives through with a takedown into half guard. Kam tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Kam wants to take a breather but Zakrzewski is having none of it.

Kam is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kam looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Kam missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kam wants to stand up but Zakrzewski has a hold of him and won't allow it. Zakrzewski trying to hold on to Kam's head to control him but Kam postures up.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Zakrzewski is staying active underneath Kam, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Kam clinches up with Zakrzewski and pushes him back against the cage. Kam manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Kam throws his legs up looking for a submission but Zakrzewski uses it to pass to side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zakrzewski trying to control the position but Kam is working away. Kam tries to buck Zakrzewski off but Zakrzewski is having none of it. Zakrzewski gets to mount! Kam was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Kam tries to hold on but Zakrzewski pushes him away. Krzysztof Zakrzewski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Leon Kam is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Leon Kam showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kam has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
