Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 4496 p4p, 4277 weight class) and el Rey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Frank Dux! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, el Rey! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dux punishes Rey's body with a nice straight punch. Dux uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rey. Dux avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

It looks like el Rey has been cut. Rey throws a sloppy head kick and Dux moves out of range easily. Rey misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Frank Dux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rey just misses with a punch to the body.

Rey is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dux working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Dux won't allow Rey to sweep him here. Dux throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rey works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Dux postures up in Rey's guard and throws a big left but Rey blocks it. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dux accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dux drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dux jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Dux throws a big right hand that misses. Dux is fighting to break Rey's control of his arms but Rey is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dux thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Dux is looking to work some ground and pound but Rey has wrist control. Rey pulls Dux in close to his closed guard and prevents Dux from doing any damage or advancing position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dux accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dux loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Dux is breathing heavily. Dux stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rey swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rey utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Rey looking for a guillotine here but Dux defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Dux wants to pass the guard but Rey is keeping the position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Dux postures up in Rey's guard and throws a big left but Rey blocks it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rey throws a head kick that Dux semi-blocks.

Rey pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. The fight moves into the clinch position. Rey tries to circle away but Dux has him pinned against the cage.

It connects and Rey has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Rey clinches up against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Rey's face as he tries to break the clinch. Rey looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Dux misses with a punch on the inside.

Frank Dux dominated that round. The cut man is working on el Rey's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Dux lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Dux with a jab. Dux lands a jab to the head.

Dux tries to get to full guard but Rey has control of the leg. Rey seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Rey prevents Dux from improving his position. Dux is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Rey scores with a couple of nice shots. Dux is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Rey jumps into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rey thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Dux tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rey wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Dux misses with a strike from the bottom. Dux is trying to improve his position. Rey controls the position from side control. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Rey tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Dux counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Dux throws a head kick but Rey moves out of range.

Dux motions for Rey to come forward. Dux throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Rey tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Dux throws a right hand that Rey ducks under and follows up with a left that Rey also avoids with ease.
And that's the end of the fight! Frank Dux showed his dominance in that final round. I think Dux has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
