Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Sinclair!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Fooligan!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Sinclair as Fooligan shoots in.
Sinclair looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Fooligan shoots in and drives through. Sinclair sprawls well.
Fooligan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Dan Sinclair has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Fooligan.
Sinclair avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sinclair throws a one two combo.
Fooligan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sinclair pinned against the cage. Sinclair gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A nice leg kick lands there from Sinclair.
Fooligan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sinclair but Sinclair pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Fooligan tries for a takedown but Sinclair sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A punch combination from Sinclair misses.
Sinclair uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Fooligan shoots in and drives through. Sinclair sprawls well.
Fooligan is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sinclair.
Sinclair stuffs the takedown attempt from Fooligan. Fooligan gets slowly back to his feet.
Sinclair lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Sinclair displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Sinclair misses with a wild body shot.
Sinclair throws a low kick but it's checked well by Fooligan.
Fooligan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sinclair but Sinclair pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jimmy Fooligan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fooligan has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fooligan fails to land the takedown.
Fooligan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sinclair stuffs the takedown.

Fooligan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Fooligan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Fooligan looking to secure an arm triangle but Sinclair defends it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fooligan landing punches.
Sinclair taking shots to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
BOOM! Fooligan connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Sinclair really wants to buck Fooligan off and get back to his feet.

Fooligan working for a guillotine from mount but Sinclair is in no mood to give up.

Fooligan looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Fooligan throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Fooligan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sinclair is looking to escape.
Fooligan moves to back control.
Fooligan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Fooligan working for a choke but Sinclair is defending well.

Fooligan has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Sinclair! Can he survive? No! He's out! Fooligan gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jimmy Fooligan!
