Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raphaël Ambrosius Costeau (ranked 302 p4p, 2817 weight class) and Porthos Knox (ranked 37 p4p, 352 weight class). Knox has chosen One Step Closer | Linkin Park as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knox ducks under a wild hook from Costeau.
A nice side step and Knox releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Knox wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Costeau on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Knox connects with a single shot there.
Costeau has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Hammer House of Horror in the buildup to the fight.

Porthos Knox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Costeau drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Costeau uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Knox.

Knox stalks Costeau and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Costeau's face. Costeau staggers backwards, shaken.

Costeau lands with an uppercut that bounces Knox off the cage and back into range.

Knox ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Costeau uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Knox.

Knox is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Costeau had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

and Costeau makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Knox might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Costeau throws the kick towards the body but Knox avoids it.
Knox swings widly with a right hand

Costeau with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Knox swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Knox throws a lazy uppercut
and Costeau counters with a nice kick to the body.

Costeau lands a big head kick that sends Knox tumbling to the mat! Costeau takes a step backwards and waves Knox back to his feet - he wants the finish!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Costeau counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
