Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Manny Tavares!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Craig Watkins!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Watkins looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Watkins gets a clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Watkins.
Tavares has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Tavares has a couple of punches blocked by Watkins.
Watkins tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Watkins misses with a hook from the clinch.
Watkins working aggressively here.
Watkins can't find room to land a body shot as Tavares controls the action.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tavares manages to break the clinch.
Tavares lands with an uppercut that bounces Watkins off the cage and back into range.
Tavares cracks Watkins with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Tavares has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Watkins to stand back up!
Watkins is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Watkins looks to clinch
and Tavares counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
